Training HARD!
MMA last night was a bit special. Felt tired but in a good way, like i still had a tiny bit left in the tank after about 1 and a halve hours solid graft. RANDORI and Stand up sparring was good fun. Get tapped of one Lad due to over confidence in my leg submission defence.
Then this morning I started my road work (I should have started weeks ago, but I am not much of a runner). Did a good 4 mile run at 7am this morning. Newcastle looks really nice early morning. But I sarted at -2degreees, it quickly warmed up and it felt like i was in a sweat suit. The route is flat for the fitst 2 mile, but taking a different route back had some good inclines and rolling hills.
All in all, I set off at 7.13, got back at exactly 7.45, so not setting the world on fire with speed…but its a good start.
